Former Watford head coach Javi Gracia has been sacked as manager of Valencia.
A statement released earlier today by the La Liga side, who are winless in their last six matches, confirmed his dismissal.
It reads: “Valencia CF have this Monday informed Javi Gracia that he’s been dismissed as coach of the first team.
"The club wants to publicly thank him for his work and dedication during these months at the helm and wishes him the best of success for the future. Salvador Gonzalez ‘Voro’ will take charge of the first team on a provisional basis.”
Gracia was in charge of the Hornets for 66 games and guided them to only their second ever FA Cup final in 2019.
He was sacked at the beginning of last season with the club winless from their first four matches.
The Spaniard lasted just 280 days in charge of Valencia, winning 11 games out of 38, drawing 12 and losing 15.
