Gerard Deulofeu has provided the biggest indication yet that he is nearing a return to action with Watford.
The winger is yet to feature this season after suffering with foot and hip problems, leading Watford head coach Javi Gracia to stress patience with the 24-year-old.
Gracia last week suggested Deulofeu could play some part in the visit of AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.
Deulofeu – a summer signing from Barcelona – has now taken to twitter to offer fans further hope he is approaching a return to action.
Having originally joined Watford on loan in January, Deulofeu impressed last season – most notably when marking a man of the match performance with a goal in the 4-1 defeat of Chelsea.
Injury meant he finished the 2017/18 campaign with just seven outings to his name, but Watford were still convinced enough by his quality to bring him in permanently from Barca.
