Five people were arrested and two taken to hospital after a fight broke out between personnel from RAF Uxbridge and members of the public last week.
The fight took place in the underpass at St Andrews roundabout after the RAF members had left the Royale discotheque in High Street, Uxbridge, in the early hours of Friday morning.
One RAF man sustained facial injuries and was taken to Hillingdon Hospital. He was later discharged, although another RAF man received a serious eye injury and needed specialist treatment at the Western Eye Hospital in central London.
Police believe the injuries were a result of attacks with bottles. The five men arrested for being drunk and disorderly were not RAF personnel.
