A CAMPAIGN to stop crashes involving take away drivers in Brent will carry the phrase “hot and tasty, not dead and buried”.
Brent Council and Pizza Hut, which opened its first delivery branch in the country in Kingsbury in 1988, are calling on moped drivers to slow down to avoid crashing.
Councillor Jim Moher, responsible for transport and highways, said: “Many of us enjoy a pizza without thinking a great deal about how it gets to us.
“But we need to raise awareness of the responsibilities pizza delivery owners have for the safety and proper training of their riders.”
