A HOME on the edge of Wembley has been badly damaged in a fire this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to Ealing Road just before 3.30pm to reports of the blaze in a flat above a shop.
They had the fire under control by 4.10pm, but half of the flat, at the junction with Stanley Avenue, had been badly damaged.
The cause of the blaze is now under investigation.
