MUSIC, dance and sport will come to a Brent park for an event with a political twist this month.
The Queensbury Eco-Cultural Festival, held in Eton Grove Park, will include performances from a range of different countries and traditions, including Tamils and Buddhists, on Sunday, June 27.
But alongside the Bhangra workshops and the steel band there will be stalls educating residents about climate change and selling Fairtrade goods.
There will also be stalls for food, gardening, face painting and hair and beauty.
Among the musical acts, there will be performances by the Sri Saddhatissa International Buddhist Centre and the Tamil Cultural Arts Centre, both based in Kingsbury Road.
Admission to the event, which runs from midday to 5pm, is free.
