Harrow can't lift spirits
What a dismal display by Harrow! After having their Saturday league match washed out, the local side did little to raise their supporters spirits in a dour clash with Chingford at Paynes Folly on Sunday.
Chingford did little to help matters managing a slow 185 from 48 overs. Harrow's Colin Tufnell took four wickets for 31 runs and Greg Quick three for 43. The fielding was good with only minor mistakes and the bowling was tight.
After tea, Harrow started reasonably well with Nikhil Kapur and Richard Bennison both reaching 11, but after that only Chris Quick, 15, could make any impact as Harrow collapsed to the spin attack and were bowled out for just 64.
