Wembley man Matt Rogers took the gold in men's table tennis competition at the 1998 Guardian Health British Transplant Games in Belfast on Saturday.
Rogers, 24, who had a kidney transplant in 1989, beat Martin White from the Bristol team in the final.
The table tennis seniors event was won by Beverley fireman Thomas Molloy who had his kidney transplant 13 years ago.
Fifty nine teams boasting a total of 600 competitors from all over England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland took part in the 21st Guardian Health British Transplant Games until Sunday evening.
