TWO robberies that are being linked took place in Kenton Recreation Ground.
The first robbery took place at 5pm at the park in Carlton Avenue. Three teenagers were walking through the park when they were approached by a gang of four who put one of the teenagers in a head lock. They then robbed them of their mobile phones and cash.
The robbers were described as black men aged between 16- 18 and they all wore hoods and dark clothing.
The second robbery took place at 10pm and four teenagers were threatened with a flick knife. They were robbed of their mobile phones, keys, wallets and credit cards.
The robbers have been described as two 24-year-old Asian men.
