A MULTI-MILLION pound project aimed at transforming Harrow's town centre into the best in north west London was discussed by councillors and developers at a special cabinet meeting on Monday night.
Currently undergoing consultation, the planned regeneration would focus on improving key sites such as Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station, the bus station, Greenhill Way, Havelock Place and Kymberley Road.
At Monday's meeting, councillors listened to development company Allsop outline their masterplan for the town centre.
A spokesman for the company said: "We want to lift the aspirations and quality of Harrow to meet 21st Century ambitions."
