A BUILDING company and its director have each been fined £1,000 for claiming to be a member of a prestigious construction association three years after being struck off following a string of complaints from unhappy customers.
Bushey Heath-based TCK Contractors Limited pleaded guilty at Harrow Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (Jan 30) to two offences of making false statements about holding membership of the Confederation of Roofing Contractors. The firm was also ordered to pay £916 costs.
