Police have sealed off a section of Kingsbury Road to investigate the gas leak.
AROUND 20 families were evacuated from their homes because of this afternoon's gas leak in Kingsbury.
The leak, in Kingsbury Road near the junction with Berkeley Road, was reported to police at 3.30 this afternoon.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police closed off Kingsbury Road and evacuated the people living there.
The road remains closed and members of the police and gas services remain at the scene.
