A SECTION of a main road in Kingsbury has been closed following a gas leak.
Engineers have shut off Kingsbury Road outside Kingsbury tube station to investigate the leak, which has left a strong smell of gas in the area.
Jubilee Line trains have been suspended and bus routes along Kingsbury Road are being diverted around the road closure.
Several shops were evacuated and two fire crews and police are on stand-by at the scene of the leak this evening in case of an explosion.
