A WEMBLEY accountant who threw acid over a legal team he claimed were Nazis is due to be sentenced this morning.
Ashok Mahajan sprayed a corrosive substance strong enough to melt a brick over a barrister, a solicitor and a pupil barrister at the Royal Courts of Justice on October 15 last year.
The 54-year-old, of Pempath Place, said after the incident, at an employment tribunal hearing: “I intended to burn and blind them. They have burned me for 20 years. They are the true Nazis.”
Mahajan, a former Belmont Lions Club treasurer, has been fighting a series of legal battles, mostly in the civil courts, since his marriage broke up in 1986, and during his trial claimed the acid was actually water and he was victim of a conspiracy because of his serial litigation.
He is due to be sentenced for attempted grievous bodily harm with intent at Southwark Crown Court this morning.
