THREE Harrow rotary clubs took 200 hundred special needs students to Thorpe Park last week.
Northick Park Rotary Club joined their counterparts from Edgware and Stanmore and Harrow to treat the group as part of Kids Out, a national event.
Mike Billington, of the Kids Out organising committee, said the children were in “great spirits”.
He said: “The rain showers that were encountered during the day did nothing to dampen the excitement of going on the rides and several students and helpers got even wetter on the water slides.”
The group set off from Shaftesbury High School, in Headstone Lane, Harrow, on Wednesday.
