A HARROW river has been taken off flood alert as water levels drop following last night's stormy weather.
The River Pinn was put on flood watch last night ahead of heavy rain across London, but the Environment Agency has received no reports of flooding at homes and businesses.
Lee James, the organisation's flood management team leader, said: “The storms and showers that were cause for concern have now passed.
“There may still be some standing water in areas where rivers did come out of their banks, but this should dry up in today’s warm weather.”
