This week hundreds will be heading to London's Trafalgar Square to celebrate the end of Ramadan with Eid in the Square.

The free event organised by the Mayor of London was created in partnership with the Eid Community Advisory Group and several grassroots Muslim organisations. 

Trafalgar Square will host a stage welcoming the likes of comedy from Ola Labib, DJ Yasser Ranjha along with many more exciting acts perfect for the whole family.

Along with fun activities and performances, there will also be several food stalls in the Square including Koreanese Corn Dog, Churros Garcia, Spice Shack, Whippy Ices and more.

The event held in Trafalgar Square will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 12pm until 6pm.

Eid in the Square is completely free to enter but there are charges for food and drinks.

What is the bag policy for Eid in the Square London?

As the event is expected to be busy, organisers say to expect queues as there will be bag searches when entering the Square.

They are also encouraged not to bring large bags into the event to avoid delays.
