A cyclist has died after a crash with a car.
Police were first called to Mountside in Harrow Weald today (September 15) at 8.55am to reports of a crash involving a cyclist and a car.
Emergency services attended the scene and the cyclist, described as a woman in her 20s, was taken to hospital, where she died of her injuries.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Her family have been informed and will be supported by officers."

Mountside has been closed off both ways since the morning and remains closed at the time of publication.

A detour operation is in place for bus routes including the H18 and H19.
