A HARROW van driver has pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
Scott Andrews, 35, is accused of killing young mother Pamela Bangs after a collision in his Vauxhall Astra outside Laurance Haines School, in Vicarage Road, Watford.
It is alleged Mr Andrews, of Welbeck Road, West Harrow, was over the limit and jumped a red light before colliding with the pedestrian on Wednesday, March 5.
He appeared at St Albans Crown Court yesterday and admitted driving while disqualified.
A four to five day trial for the death by dangerous driving charge was set by Judge Baker beginning on Monday, September 1.
No bail application was made and Mr Andrews was remanded in custody.
He will be sentenced for driving while disqualified on conclusion of the trial.
