A man has been arrested after three pedestrians were injured - with two rushed to hospital - after they were hit by a car.
Lascelles Avenue in Harrow was closed off on the evening of Sunday (March 5) after reports of a crash.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 9.45pm and two men, in their 20s and 50s, were rushed to hospital where injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
A woman, in her 40s, was treated for minor injuries.
The Metropolitan Police said: “The driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, initially failed to stop at the scene, however he returned a short time later.
“He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision and remains in custody.”
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing. Any witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6809/05Mar.
