A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he fell from a building in a busy shopping area.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to St Anne’s Road at 1.40pm this afternoon (February 8).

Met officers, LAS and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene, where a man aged in his 30s had fallen from a building.

He was taken by LAS to a west London hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.

A police spokesperson said: “Immediate enquiries undertaken have established that no other persons were present at the time the man fell from the building.”

Harrow Council said that Greenhill Way is closed following the “serious incident”, affecting the 182 bus route.

It is expected that the closure will be in place into rush hour this evening.
