Households in Harrow and Brent have been left without water due to a burst water main.
Affinity Water has isssed an alert to residents across the area about the burst main on The Mall, Harrow.
The water supplier was first made aware of the issue just before 11.30pm on Tuesday (October 25).
Postcodes in Wembley, North and South Harrow, Stanmore and Edgware are said to be affected. This includes: HA0, HA1, HA2, HA3, HA7, HA8, HA9, HP3 and NW9.
Affinity Water estimates that water will return by 1am on Wednesday (October 26).
A message reads: "We're really sorry for the problems with your water today.
"We've isolated the damaged section of water main and you'll see your water flowing back to normal soon."
Additional repair works will be carried out overnight, however it is not exepcted to affect customers.
