With the weekend upon us, it's time to check what planned TFL closures are taking place from Friday to Sunday.

As with most weekends, some stations will be closed or partly closed for TFL to carry out essential work.

We've put a quick list together of all the work this weekend to ensure you don't get caught out and can plan ahead.

To get the most up-to-date stats of the Underground, you can use the TFL app or website. 

Friday, October 7:

Elizabeth Line: Services between Paddington and Abbey Wood operate on Monday to Saturday 05:30 - 23:00 only.

London Overground Line: Changes to Stratford to Clapham Junction / Richmond services on Friday 7 October: The 2159 train from Stratford to Richmond terminates at Camden Road at 2218 and the 2317 train from Richmond to Willesden Junction will not run.

Waterloo & City line: Service operates between 06:00 and 00:30, Monday - Friday. No service at weekends and on public and bank holidays.

Saturday, October 8:

Bakerloo Line: Saturday 8 October, before 0800 and after 1800, no service between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone due to Network Rail strike action. A limited service is expected on this section of route between 0800 and 1800.

District Line: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October, no service between Earls Court and Wimbledon. Replacement buses operate.

DLR: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October, no service between West Ham and Canning Town, and between Canning Town and Woolwich Arsenal.

Elizabeth Line: Saturday 8 October, the central section of the Elizabeth line from Paddington to Abbey Wood will have a normal service until 17:45 when services will be reduced. 

On the eastern section between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, trains will run a reduced service of two trains per hour from around 0730 to 1730 only and on the western section from around 07:40 to 17:10 only, two trains per hour will run between Paddington and Reading and four trains per hour between Paddington and Heathrow T2/3, with two trains per hour continuing to T4 and two trains per hour continuing to T5.

There will be no service outside these hours on these sections.

London Overground line: Changes to Euston to Watford Junction services on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October: Saturday, a reduced Saturday timetable will run from Kilburn High Road to Euston between 0630 and 1930.

Waterloo & City line: Service operates between 06:00 and 00:30, Monday - Friday. No service at weekends and on public and bank holidays.

Sunday, October 9: 

District Line: Sunday 9 October, no service between Turnham Green and Richmond. No London Overground service between Willesden Junction and Richmond. Replacement buses operate.

DLR: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October, no service between West Ham and Canning Town, and between Canning Town and Woolwich Arsenal.

Elizabeth Line:  Elizabeth line services will start at around 0630 on the east, 0700 in the west and the Elizabeth line from Paddington to Abbey Wood does not currently run on Sundays.

London Overground: Sunday 2 October, from 22:15, no service between Camden Road and Stratford. Replacement buses operate.

Waterloo & City line: Closed on weekends and public bank holidays.
