Several streets in the Harrow area are due to be temporarily closed for roadworks, starting from Monday.

The extent of the closures is detailed in notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times.

Vehicles will be prohibited form entering or exiting Grange Gardens, between the eastern boundary of No. 8 and the junction with High Street, Pinner, from Monday due to utility works.

The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday and during the closure the diversion will be via High Street, Church Lane and vice versa.

Two more roads are due to be closed to vehicles from Monday to Wednesday for utility works.

These are Nibthwaite Road at its junction with Station Road, Harrow; and Rosslyn Crescent at its southern junction with Station Road.

The diversion for the Nibthwaite Road closure is via Station Road, Hindes Road, Hamilton Road and vice versa.

For the Rosslyn Crescent closure, motorists should use Station Road, the northern junction of Rosslyn Crescent and vice versa.

A section of Earls Crescent is due to be closed next week, from Tuesday to Thursday, for utility works.

The road will be shut from the western boundary of No. 14 to the junction with Princes Drive.

The alternative route for drivers will be via Princes Drive, Dukes Avenue and vice versa.

Cheyneys Avenue is set to be closed between Nos. 39 and 49 between Wednesday and Friday, March 25 for utility works.

Motorists should use Cloyster Wood, Howberry Road and vice versa during the closure.

Utility works are set to shut Tenby Road at its junctions with Camrose Avenue on April 4.

The works are expected to be completed by April 8 and the diversion will be via Roch Avenue, Dale Avenue and vice versa.

Jersey Avenue is due to be closed between the eastern boundary of No. 15 and the junction with Kenton Lane between April 6 and April 8 for utility works.

The alternative route will be via Kenton Lane, Streatfield Road, Uppingham Avenue and vice versa.
