Temporary traffic restrictions are set to be implemented in two streets in the Harrow area while roadworks are carried out.
Notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times detail the extent of the measures in Ventnor Avenue and Cavendish Avenue.
Ventnor Avenue is set to be closed between its junction with Weston Drive and a point opposite the boundary wall of No. 36 Ventnor Avenue from September 22.
The works will take place from 8am to 5pm and it is anticipated they will be completed by September 24, although the order could remain until December 22 in case of delays.
The diversion during the closure will be via Weston Drive, Uppingham Avenue, Clifton Avenue and vice versa.
Temporary waiting and loading restrictions are due to be in place in parts of Cavendish Avenue while utility works take place.
These will be operational from 9am and September 22 and it is expected the work will take a week to complete.
