Five people who were stabbed after a large fight near Harrow Civic Centre are thought not to be suffering life-changing conditions.

An update has been issued after a large fight broke out at Railway Approach, close to Wealdstone tube station and the Civic Centre, yesterday (August 30) at around 4am.

At the time, officers found five people – aged in their late teens or 20s - with stab injuries as they were taken to hospital.

Originally two men were said to be in a “serious but stable condition” while two other men and a woman had non-life changing or life-threatening injuries.

However according to the force, now all victims are thought to have non-life threatening or life changing injuries.

Cordons were in place throughout the day as an investigation took place, and as of today (August 31) there still have been no arrests, the Met have confirmed.

There was a heavy emergency services presence in the morning, with five ambulance crews, a medic in a car, two advanced paramedics and tow incident response officers called to the area.

There was also an air ambulance at the scene.

Station Road eventually reopened after the stabbing later yesterday afternoon.
