HARROW will commemorate the lives of its fallen soldiers and civilians with a town centre parade today.
The parade will march from Havelock Place, in Harrow-on-the-Hill, to Harrow Civic Centre, in Station Road.
It will be led by soldiers from 131 Independent Commando Squadron, based in Kingsbury and will leave at 10am.
At 10.45am the Act of remembrance will take place at Harrow's war memorial outside the Civic Centre.
Representatives of local uniformed and civilian organisations will be at the service, along with Councillor Jean Lammiman, Mayor of Harrow, and a number of other councillors.
The 131 Independent Commando Squadron recently served in Afghanistan.
