With a new year starting, you might be looking for a fresh start and a new job, so get some help at the upcoming job fair.

The Harrow Council Xcite Employment Fair will give jobseekers the chance to get the best information, tips and advice at the upcoming free events in January.

On January 15, a free skills and employment drop-in session at the Beacon, South Harrow, will allow people to see some of the current vacancies in the borough.

These jobs vary from labourers, painters & decorators, forklift drivers, recruitment coordinators, call centre jobs and more.

Then on January 23 at the Harrow Civic Centre, employers from Harrow will be at the event to receive CVs from attendees and give any relevant advice for anyone out of work or looking for new jobs.

Kerry Ferry, the portfolio holder for Business, Planning and Regeneration, said: “Many people start the year with a list of resolutions – finding a dream job is often one of them.

“So just a few weeks into 2020, we want to make it even easier for Harrow Residents to find work or get the training they need.

“The Xcite Fair has everything under one roof – a chance to see what’s out there and for local employers to reach out and find the best people to take on.

“Fulfilling your new year’s resolution has never been simpler.”
