A Lifetime Achievement award has been given to a solicitor for their legal services.
Ritu Sethi, founder of the Sethi Partnership Solicitors, Ruislip, has received a Lifetime Achievement 2019 award by the Society of Asian Lawyers for Mrs Sethi’s legal services.
The award ceremony took place on September 28, 2019, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in Bayswater, attended by over 600 judges, lawyers and their guests.
Mrs Sethi was recognised for his firms’ 26 years of operation, with personal accomplishments such as battling gender barriers in the male dominated profession.
She said: “It has been an exciting yet turbulent journey so far, with many changes along the way, however I am committed to make a lasting and positive impact in the legal field and be a torch bearer for the next generation of lawyers.”
The solicitor pursued her career in law since 1990, which she initially felt she had no female role models to look up to. In 1994, the firm was launched and has since served around 1,000 clients annually in all areas of law – including property, probate, immigration, litigation and family.
