A concert featuring specially composed music will be held to commemorate one hundred years since the end of the First World War.

The “Beyond the Trenches” concert, presented by Tonic Choir and featuring students from Kenmore Park School, will be performed at the Bentley Priory Museum on November 10.

The performance, marking the centenary of the end of World War I, will include songs from the period and two new songs composed specifically for the concert.

The Tonic Choir have been invited back to the museum after appearing there last year.

The show will consist of two performances at 11.30am and 2.30pm.

Philip Barnett, musical director of Tonic Choir: “We were thrilled to be asked back to Bentley Priory once again.

“Our 'Beyond the Trenches' programme was very well received last year, and we feel is a fitting tribute to those who served in the First World War, as well as those left at home, beyond the trenches.”
