SCHOOL and council chiefs are still deciding whether fire damage to a Stanmore school will affect the start of the new term in September.
On Wednesday, August 22, a six-hour blaze severely damaged many classrooms at Bentley Wood High School for Girls in Bridges Road Talks were being held today (Friday, August 24) to decide if the school will be safe enough for the pupils to return to, or whether alternative arrangements need to be made.
A decision on the matter is expected on Tuesday, August 28.
