Its nearly Half Term time once again, but don’t worry, Harrow Arts Centre has you covered with a packed programme of creative workshops, fun film activity days and family theatre.

Dance into the jam packed week with street dance pro Selina Johnson for an exciting afternoon of street dance beats and treats. In the Street Dance Workshop on Sunday, May 27 at 1:30pm, learn some steps, try corner work and build a routine or two to perform at the end of the workshop. This workshop is tailored for children aged eight to 14.

If you are looking for something suitable for younger children, HAC’s Film Activity Days are just the thing for you! Starting with A Bug’s Life Activity Day on Tuesday, May 29 and Wall-E activity Day on Wednesday, May 30.

The morning begins (10am) with a craft workshop making your very own creation to take along to the film. Then to a screening of a family classic in Harrow Art Centres 350” full HD cinema (11am).

Keep the creativity flowing with cartoonist Steve Marchant on Thursday, May 31 for two incredible Cartoon Museum Workshops.

In the Family Workshop (10am) learn how to create your own cartoon characters using professional methods, and then write and draw your own short comic strip.

Next the Manga Workshop (1:30pm) where you will learn how to create your own Manga characters and then write and draw your own short comic strip, and there’s a free caricature for all taking part.

Finish the half term off with an awe inspiring performance of Oscar Wilde’s classic tale The Selfish Giant on Friday, June 1 at 2pm.

Reimagined for the stage, this magical adventure for the whole family by Wrongsemble, a Yorkshire based theatre company famed for creating fantastic family theatre for all ages, packed full of original music, puppetry, magic and adventure.
