Thousands of women will take part in the biggest girl’s night out ever to support a charity for people with life-limiting illnesses.
St Luke’s Hospice is hosting an 80’s themed Midnight Walk for women on June 22, with an option to walk five or nine miles through Harrow and Brent, and everyone is encouraged to dress up.
The event starts with registration at 10.30pm at Byron Hall, Harrow Leisure Centre with entertainment and a warm up before setting off.
The five and nine mile walk will begin at midnight passing through Harrow Weald, Stanmore, Queensbury (nine mile only) and Kenton, before returning back to Harrow Leisure Centre.
Each walker will be given a map of the route, there will be regular water stops and a free goody bag and morning snack is available upon return.
The Midnight Walk happens each year and this is its 11th anniversary. It is the charity’s biggest annual fundraiser.
St Luke’s are asking walkers to remember to bring their number.
