A flagship hospital run by a private healthcare company has appointed its youngest executive director.
Claire Armstrong, 30, heads up BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Harrow, having been interim leader for the past four months.
She explained how she was grateful for the background she has built up while working in a number of positions at various BMI hospitals.
“I’ve been fortunate to have gained considerable experience at BMI Healthcare, and the backing to excel in my career,” she said.
“I am delighted to be in this permanent role at The Clem, to further develop the hospital and to work with the team here to provide the best patient care.”
Claire has previously worked at BMI Coombe Wing and BMI Syon Clinic, in Kingston and Brentford respectively.
Here she “excelled” in marketing, process management and relationship development positions.
Marcus Taylor, London regional director for BMI Healthcare, said: “Claire consistently demonstrates her ability to deliver.
“Her ‘can-do’ attitude is to be admired, as is her commitment to excellence and her compassion.
“We are proud of Claire as a role model for what is possible, and of her ability to bring about positive change.”
