THREE teenagers will be angling for a medal when they become the first team from Harrow to compete in the fishing event at the London Youth Games.
Sam Bailey, Chris Hardy and Aidan Black landed more than 20kg of carp and roach in the qualifying competition in Romford.
Harrow Council sports development officer Ben Rawlings said: "The team did fantastically well at their first outing. They were relatively inexperienced at match fishing but stuck to a prearranged plan and came up trumps.
"We're going for gold and have every confidence that the team can do really well at Crystal Palace."
