A POLICE officer was injured while trying to arrest a 51-year-old man.
The 31-year-old police constable, who has not been named, was treated for cuts and bruises following the incident on Sunday night at an address in Francis Road, Central Harrow.
He was taken to Northwick Park Hospital where he was treated and discharged.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and has been transferred to Hounslow police station.
The officer has not yet returned to work.
