A CHARITY based near the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is rounding up volunteers to take part in a 30-mile bike ride from Stoke Mandeville to Stanmore.

Staff at ASPIRE, a charity raising awareness of spinal chord injuries, will ride from the spinal unit at Stoke Mandeville to RNOH on July 15.

The ride is aimed at cyclists of all levels and will take in the sights of the picturesque Chilterns.

Anyone interested in taking part should contact event co-ordinator Andrew Ogierman on 020 8420 8951 or by email at andrew.ogierman@aspire.org.uk.
