YOUNG sports stars have the potential to lead the next generation of footballers with a new coaching course.
Watford FC’s community sports and education trust has announced a new partnership with a Football and Education Scheme run by the Middlesex FA and Whitmore High School, in Porlock Avenue, Harrow.
The partnership sees 22 students, aged 16 to 19, being put through their FA Level 1 award in Coaching Football course.
The young sports stars have been discussing the values of ‘being a coach’ and understanding the value of being role models to the younger footballing generation in the community.
