A mental health centre was given a lick of paint as Tesco staff swapped their uniforms for overalls.
Tesco staff from all over North London have been visiting the Bridge Rethink mental health centre, in Christchurch Road, Harrow, this week, to give the building a much-needed revamp.
Staff have been redecorating four rooms in the centre with the help of some of its users.
Tesco's Harrow borough community champion Debbie Briody, who organised the redecorating, said: “For us, it is important to do what we can to help our local communities.
“We are not about charity and what we can give, but much more about what we can do to help.
“I have got a contact that said they desperately needed some redecorating done and didn’t have the budget to do it, so that’s why we got involved.”
Staff at the centre have said that the help has “been invaluable” and the work would have never been completed without their help.
