An inquest into the death of a 74-year-old man has been reopened.
Retired company director Charles Edward Elliott, of Devereux Drive, Watford, died at Northwick Park Hospital, in Harrow, on October 1, 2013.
Born on April 5, 1939 in Lambeth, the 74-year-old suffered from severe Parkinson’s disease and was receiving treatment for a hernia – which was repaired in July 2013.
An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned on November 27, 2013, and was reopened at the North London Coroner’s Court in High Barnet this morning.
The inquest, held by senior coroner Andrew Walker, will continue throughout the week.
