One must admire Harrow Borough Council’s attempts to encourage visitors and to get them to spend money in the borough.
Designing counter-intuitive road systems and ensuring poor, or even nil, signage (where exactly is the sorting office?) certainly ensures people linger longer than they might otherwise choose to stay. Siting cameras at spots where they might then get stuck and then sending them souvenir photos of their vehicle’s visit is a brilliant idea, although the resulting £130 bill is perhaps a little fierce.
I think Harrow is a really welcoming place and will be rushing back for another visit as soon as possible (NOT!).
Come on guys, you are here to serve the people, not to milk them at every opportunity.
