A new police contact point is set to open in a supermarket.
Harrow Police have announced they will be opening the new contact point at Waitrose supermarket, in Northolt Road, South Harrow.
It will be open a total of six hours a week and manned by officers who will be available for people to speak to about problems including crime and anti-social behaviour, complaints and general advice.
Harrow Borough Commander Chief Superintendent Simon Ovens said: "The contact point allows members or the public greater access to police officers with local knowledge, to deal with local issues at a convenient location.
“We would like to thank Waitrose manager Mark Brown for supporting community engagement in the area."
The point will be open on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm, on Tuesdays also from 6pm to 8pm and Fridays from 2pm to 4pm.
