I find it unbelievable that the bins not emptied on July 10 will not have a chance to be emptied till the next time they collect the blue bin.
If we had weekly collections it would not be a problem, but being fortnightly they are full on collection day.
I take recycling seriously, evidently Harrow Borough Council does not.
If I withhold 1/4 of next month’s council tax, I would have the bailiffs at the door, but the council thinks it can get away with stealing a paid service from the citizens.
It advises us (only on the website, no other communication) to go to the Wealdstone refuse centre. I do not have a car, and why should I pay the train fare to carry rubbish?
I pay for the collection, and we are having fly-tipping problems in the area already. This is madness.
