The community at the newly-established Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury is running its second blood donation session at its new premises on Sunday.

A total of 75 units was collected at the first session in April, bringing the Mandir community’s grand total to 1049 units.

It is hoped the session this weekend will inspire many more people to do something amazing and give blood – the most selfless of acts – to help save lives.

Sunday’s session will in fact be the 12th session organised by this Hindu community, having run ten extremely successful events at its previous home in Golders Green.

The sessions take place from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4pm.

Walk-ins are welcome, but to avoid delays, please book an appointment by calling 0300 123 2323 or visit www.blood.co.uk
