A new project has been announced to clean private roads across the borough.
Harrow Borough Council has announced a blitz on roads which have become a target for fly-tippers.
Last week its street cleaning team cleared Mollison Way, Edgware, which had become a dumping ground for everything from household rubbish to unwanted furniture.
Private roads are not maintained by the council but have become hotspots for the dumping of waste.
As part of the new council project teams will target service roads and alleyways where there are regular litter problems.
