A man was rescued from a blaze at a care home that damaged a ground floor bedroom this morning.
London Fire Brigade was called to the scene in Wilsmere Drive, Harrow Weald, at 3.29am today.
The man was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance service.
Staff from the care home and firefighters helped nine other people with mobility issues escape from the building. No-one else was hurt.
Crews from Stanmore, Harrow, Wembley, and Mill Hill fire stations tackled the blaze and had it under control by 4.04am.
The Fire Brigade said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
