A college will be relaunching its apprenticeships and traineeships programme as demand from young people increases.
Harrow College announced it will launch the programme from today, offering young people a wide range of qualifications to help them find work.
The college believes that an increase in tuition fees and a tough labour market has caused applications for apprenticeships to rise dramatically.
The programme will be split in two, with apprenticeships available for people from the age of 16 to 24 and traineeship programmes open to those from the age of 16 to 18.
Young people will be able to get training in a range of industries including construction, childcare, administration, accounting and IT.
The college hopes to work with small and medium businesses in the borough to help provide placements for those signed up.
