Fab three-bed terrace arranged over three floors. Stylish bathrooms, a funky kitchen, original features and quirky radiators give plenty of personality. Nearly 1500 sq ft gives plenty of space. On a popular road, 5mins from Clapham North.

The living room is large and accommodating - one person can watch TV while the other is far enough away in the dining area to pretend to work. The ceilings are high, a corkscrew radiator impresses kids and a working fireplace makes Christmas drinks ever so extra festive.

The kitchen is bright, open and upbeat. It opens up into a york-stone-and-ivy garden for eating out in the summer. The garden backs onto Andalus Road so you can keep your bike in the shed and get on the road without traipsing mud through the house.

The bathrooms are all designer tiles and slinky fixtures - like going to a cool hotel only closer. The main bathroom has a power shower to get you up in the morning and an extra large bath for a proper soak in the evening. The mirror has a heated de-mister so you can see to shave after showering without lacerating your face. There's a snazzy radiator to keep towels dry. The smaller bathroom doubles as wet room.

Upstairs, past the stainless-steel 'Jenga' radiator on the landing are three bedrooms - double rooms that fit a double bed and swung cat. It's a quiet road and the whole house is double glazed, so no problems sleeping.

You didn't know you needed a cellar. You do. The house has a proper utility room and a separate store room in the cellar. Not sure what we'd do without them.

When I first moved in, the area was euphemistically described as 'up and coming'. Now before you even get to the tube there’s a poodle parlour, fringe theatre, organic bakery, artisan coffee shop and more ethnic eateries than you can shake a Guardian at. Clapham High Street and Brixton have been similarly transformed. Our work here is done.

Twenty-three years ago I fell in love with the place within ten minutes of walking through the door. Honestly, I've spent longer choosing jeans. I hope it goes to someone who feels the same way
