The weather will be more forgiving today than it has been in recent weeks as it should remain dry in most of the region.
There will be thick cloud cover at times which may burst to give the occasional drops light rain, but there are bright and even sunny intervals predicted to take hold throughout the day, with maximum temperatures of 20 °C.
There is the usual slow traffic on North Western Avenue through Watford and Bushey, the M25 in Hertfordshire, the A1 in Borehamwood and the North Circular Road, but no accidents to report.
