MIDDLESEX ECB Premier League leaders Ealing enjoyed a crushing 131-run win over Teddington to extend the gap between them and Brondesbury to 27 points on Saturday.
Simon Hawk crashed 70 and Lee Parry hit 50 as Ealing were bowled out for 258. Chris Peploe took four for 46 as Teddington fell way short on 127 in reply.
Brondesbury, meanwhile, beat Finchley by five wickets after surpassing their opponents' 99 total in 25 overs.
Nick Compton starred for Richmond in their 73-run win over Hampstead. He eased his way to 54 while Ollie Hutton reached 60 in their innings of 183 all out. Paul Weekes was the chief wicket-taker with seven for 58.
Aktar hit 52 in Hampstead's reply but Crompton helped knock them off for 110 by removing four men for 33.
Winchmore Hill remain four points above the drop zone after going down by 49 runs to Stanmore, who saw Omar Anwar hit 99 in their 227 total. Winchmore could only muster 178, with Mukesh Bhatt taking five for 89.
Wembley's winless streak continued with a 58-run defeat at home to fellow strugglers Eastcote. The visitors made 225 for nine in 64 overs (Jivram Lotay 61) while Wembley were bowled out for 167. In Division Two, North London caused a shock by inflicting leaders Southgate's second defeat of the season. Chris Gane (69) and Ian Johns (55) starred as North London declared on 289 for six.
It proved to be a bridge too far for Southgate as they crumbled for 132.
Acton maintained the pressure on the leaders with a convincing eight-wicket win over Barnes. Having sent them packing for 140, Acton eased past the target with Mehmood (67 not out) in top form.
Harrow made a good attempt at overhauling Brentham's 202 target but still fell 20 runs short, despite the best efforts of David Walker (92 not out).
Shepherds Bush settled for a winning draw with Enfield despite looking odds on for the win when openers Shani Kamalia (58) and Jeremy Dean (94) plundered the ball to all parts of the ground.
Having declared on 278 for five off 46 overs, Bush set about Enfield but Ben Collins (54) and former England captain Mike Gatting's son Jim (95) had other ideas as they helped their side reach 227 for five off 56 overs to take a point.
Uxbridge are propping up the rest of the table despite registering a gritty draw against South Hampstead, who made 237 all out.
Stubborn Uxbridge, however, cautiously made their way to 129 for five in their 51 overs to nick a crucial draw.
Benton Barker's magnificent 144 counted for little as his Wycombe House side lost to Division Three leaders Twickenham by six wickets.
Warwick Paul took six for 68 as House were removed for 267 before Peter Carey (104 not out) and John-Paul Cronje (74) eased Twickers home.
Highgate were forced to settle for a draw after failing to remove Bessborough's last man. Chasing 228 for five, Borough clawed their way to 179 for nine in their alloted 51 overs in reply.
